Özet (EN)
The increasing consumption from the past to the present has stauted to pose risk in aspect of natural resources. If we consider this situation from the perspective of the construction sector, concrete is an indispensable building material in many areas. When we look at the content of concrete, we can see that a significant amount of aggregate is used in terms of volume. In this case it is clearly seen and understood that continuing production solely with natural resources will lead to serious problems in future. The demolition of buildings that have their economic lifespan or no longer demonstrate sufficient structural integrity for use, along with the debris left behind from natural disaster, fires, and earthquakes, as well as concrete waste generated from various experiments conducted in concrete laboratories, occupies a significant volume in our country. A considerable amount of concrete waste is generated annually in our country through these means. In short, concrete waste, with the debris it creataes is a problem the causes both environmental and needs to be addressed. With this study, waste concrete was turned into aggregate and replaced with natural aggregate in different proportions. The created samples were measured, and the feasibility of concrete production was investigated in terms of the physical and mechanical properties of the samples. The increase in the amount of GDA negatively affected the 28-day compressive strength. With the increase in GDA substitution percentage, the decrease in pressure values, unit volume weight and distribution values caused an increase in water absorption values. However, according to the study carried out in the experiment, the desired strength was achieved with the use of a certain amount of recycled bulk.
