Pottery is a branch of art that transfers civilizations and their culture to this time. Also Avanos region has had a lot of civilizations. From old times until now, pottery has reached its existing stance through heridity. In this study, it was aimed to find out regional and traditional forms. The investigating known and unknown specialities of pottery in Avanos region. In the first section, historical development of Avanos and pottery was examined.
