Abstract (EN)
Vocabulary involves all the words that reflect the history, traditions and cultural elements of a society. With the studies that are carried out in the field of lexiology, it is clearly found out that there has been a change and also a development in language through out the historical process. Vocabulary which is also named as word repertory, expresses all the words reduplications, idioms, proverbs and terms that a person has. The aim of this research is to study Ayla Çınaroğlu's 13 fairy tales and 11 story boks in terms of vocabulary. These are the fairy tale books that are studied: Peynirli Börek, Demet'in Bahçesi, Al Takkeli Dev ile Mor Takkeli Dev, Mut Teyze'nin Bahçesi, İlkbaharın Sesi, Kırçıl Horoz, Yedi Kapılı Kent, Küçük Mor Balık, Şekerler Deve Oldu, Yaşasın Kar Yağıyor, Kim Demiş Niye Demiş Bu Naneyi Kim Yemiş, Okuldan Dönerken, Üç Kuzucuk. And also these are the story books that are studied: Uzay Güzeli, Veli'nin Kurabiyesi, Mutlu Bir Gün, Altın Kanatlı Topçin, Mavi Boya, Mavi Balon, Aliş'in Kabakları, En Büyük Takım Bizim Takım, Kanaryamın Öyküsü, Beyaz Benekli At, Çikolatayı Kim Yiyecek. In the research in which investigation of documents method is used, vocabulary is defired with obtained data and its elements are explained. Elements that vocabulary involves are classified as painterd out in the book of Doğan Aksan (2006) of which name is "Türkçenin Sözvarlığı". When the obtained findings are investigated, it is understood that books which are studied in terms of vocabulary are rich in terms of reduplications, idioms and same foreign words, but other vocabulary elementes are not found in these books.
