Analysing of Aytül Akal's tales from the point of values education

The aim of this research is to determine the values ​​that Aytul Akal, who has an important place in children's literature, wants to convey in his books; To determine what measures have been made in the education of values ​​studied; And whether these tenses will be a source of direction for children's life. In the research, 58 stories which were taken by Aytul Akal and published in the book "Fairy Tale" published in 2012 were examined. Qualitative research methods were used in the research, literature review and content analysis were conducted. When identifying the values ​​contained in the 58 fairy tales, these 58 fairy tales are individually coded to make it easier to work. The study consists of five parts. First, the scientific research steps of studying were identified. Then, in the second part, definitions and explanations of concepts related to work were given. In the third chapter, Aytul Akal's life, literary personality and works were discussed. In the fourth chapter, the method of studying was discussed. In the fifth chapter, brief information about the tale was given first. Afterwards, findings from the scrolls were presented with examples. In addition, the frequencies of the obtained data and values ​​were embodied in tables and graphs. In the sixth chapter, there are suggestions about the results obtained from the research and what is the origin of the study. As a result of the research, 20 values ​​were found in 58 tables taken by Aytul Akal. These values ​​are: justice, friendship, peace, courage, diligence, solidarity, righteousness, empathy, sacrifice, judgment, freedom, patience, respect for health, respect, love, responsibility, saving, cleansing, helping. As a result of the findings, it was determined whether or not the examined titles would be a source of values ​​education. Key words: value, value education, children's literature, tales, Aytul Akal
