Abstract (EN)
Contrary to popular belief, creating works for children is a job that requires hard work. Before creating works for children, it is necessary to have comprehensive knowledge of their world. Works that reflect children's world and perspective can be qualified works. To be able to raise individuals whose reading culture develops, one should be aware of child reality. When we look at the literature, examining the works created in accordance with child reality, the scarcity existing of works and resources is substantial in terms of presenting more studies in this field and contributing to other studies to be done. Works written for children should reflect the world of children and the needs of the child. The child's interests, needs, perspectives and language universe are different from adults. When choosing a qualified work, the level of the reader, her/his developmental characteristics, the child's world should be taken into account. In this study, considering these features, the suitability of Aytül Akal's novels to child reality has been examined. In works written for children, it is important to address the world of children and to make sense of their feelings, thoughts and behaviors. These features should also be taken into account in the children's books produced. Relevance to the child and child reality are the main criteria that should be in a children's book. It is important for both the author and the reader to produce works in accordance with these. Aytül Akal's Süper Gazeteciler novel series has been examined in terms of child reality. While examining child reality; the nature of the child, his psychological and social needs, interests, perspectives, language and meaning universe were taken into consideration. It was concluded that the Süper Gazeteciler novel series was created taking into account child reality. Aytül Akal takes into account the child's perspective, interests and needs in accordance with the characters she creates. The needs and interests of the children according to their age and developmental level are reflected in the novel characters. As a result of the study, it was determined that Aytül Akal gave suitable works for child reality in her novels. Accordingly, conclusions and recommendations are given.
