Erzurum in Azerbaijan folk literature

The perception of Turkishness and Turkey has an important place in Azerbaijani oral, classical, new period and today's literature, and in this context, various cities and regions of Turkey are also mentioned in the eyes of Azerbaijan. Istanbul, Ankara, Erzurum, Kars, Ardahan, Igdir, Sivas, etc. it is reflected in the products in the works. From this point of view, only products related to Erzurum are considered in the Azerbaijani folk literature. It is aimed to determine and reveal the activities of various works on Erzurum in Azerbaijan folk literature. Mani, folk tale, minstrel poem, fairy tale, etc., which are the same theme in Azerbaijan folk literature with known examples in Turkish folk literature. It is aimed to compare the type and equivalent products. Reaching new information and new materials in this field has been the main target. It is believed that this work will create innovation and originality in its field. It is thought that the prepared study will be beneficial both to the science of literature and to the readers, especially to the society who is curious in this field. Within the scope of the study, the national and spiritual characteristic structure has been dealt with scientifically without rejecting it. Comparative literature studies, text analyzes, evaluations and poetry/quatrain analyze of the products of Azerbaijan and Turkey folk literature have been revealed. In the field of Azerbaijani folk literature, studies conducted to date, accompanied by studies, oral and written works have been scanned, the points where the name Erzurum has been mentioned have been evaluated and included under the title Erzurum in folk literature. Erzurum, space and time reviews of Azerbaijani folk literary products have also been included in the study.
