Abstract (EN)
One of the most basic indicators of democratic nations is the power of the purse. Failure to perceive or adopt the power of the purse may lead to negative events such as ineffectiveness in public services, leakage in resource allocation and expenditure, and corruption. Therefore, in this study, it is aimed to measure the level of perception of the power of the purse of individuals who are educated at the university level. The research was applied in a university in Gence, Azerbaijan, using the survey technique. In the study, three statements about the perception of budget right were taken as dependent variables and subjected to analysis of variance on demographic variables. In the study, three statements were examined in terms of 6 demographic variables and hypotheses were formed in this context. A total of 6 hypotheses were defined for all three statements. T test and ANOVA analysis were used to test the hypotheses.
