Abstract (EN)

This documentary called Baghdad takes the audiences to a historical journey in Baghdad. The documentary compares two different periods of the city; Baghdad, a city of tolerance, art, science, peace, civilization which had an inspiring beauty and now the one in which the darkness spreads to the world with wars and terror. The question of ''How has the city of peace Baghdad turned into the city of war?' is answered by the war correspondents who have been in Baghdad during the war. The documentary aims to show that the societies which can not decide by their own, which can not determine their own future and asking the help of international forces are absolute losers. For none of international power would take action against any 'undemocratic situation' for global peace, human rights etc. They would only act if they have any benefits. Moreover, they are not going to hesitate to use newsmaker, international law agreements, even movies to legitimate their illegal actions.
