Özet (EN)

Boron (B) is a micro element that is required by plants in small amounts and whose deficiency and toxicity limits are quite close to each other. In order to ensure optimum growth and productivity in plants, B must be present at sufficient levels. Research has shown that the effects of micro elements on plants have been increasing in recent years. For this reason, B is considered an indispensable nutrient element in plant nutrition. B requirements vary significantly among plant species. Legumes in particular are among the plant groups with high requirements due to their high protein content and nitrogen (N) fixing properties. These features make the increase in the production of legumes important for both plant and human nutrition. In addition, since B also has an important role in human health, various studies are being conducted in this area. In this thesis, studies in the literature on B nutrition of legume plants were compiled and evaluated comprehensively.
