Özet (EN)
This research aims to analyse the organizational culture of Halkbank through the use of metaphors for the bank, operating in the city and provinces of Tokat. To this end, a total of 67 employees working in city and province branches of the bank aforementioned has been interviewed. Participants having been given a set of open-ended questions in the interview have been asked which metaphors they use for the properties of organizational culture and why they use those metaphors. For qualitative part of the study, a case study has been selected while descriptive research pattern has been preferred as for the quantitave part. Descriptive and content analysis in qualitative data analysis have been performed while only the latter has been performed in the analysis of quantitative data; these two sets of data have been quantified for SPSS20 to evaluate their frequency and percentage distribution. Sconcluively, it has been established that metaphor analysis is safe to be applied as a method in the analysis of organizational culture of the banks, and that employees use positive metaphors related to the bank and there exists a strong sense of organizational culture.
