Özet (EN)

Banks, which are the leading financial institutions, occupy an important place in the financial market. The main task of banks with individual and corporate clients is to collect the deposits of those with excess funds and make those who request funds use these deposits as loans. The aim of this study is to reveal how loan claims are affected in the Covid 19 process, what the changes are and how the banks are following the path. In this study, it was attempted to determine the evaluation process of the loans that banks used to corporate firms during the epidemic process and to make comparisons between banks. The study was carried out on private and public banks operating in Rize province and face-to-face interviews were conducted with 7 banks to show the effects of banks on credit demands in the Covid-19 process. As a result of research conducted on banks, it was found that during the epidemic, banks differed compared to previous years when evaluating business loan requests, although the evaluations of each bank are basically similar, there are different practices.
