This study was carried out in order to contribute to revealing the plant diversity of Turkey by determining the flora of Baran Mountain, which is located within the borders of Kaman district of Kırşehir province in the Central Anatolian Region. The study area is in the B5 square according to P. H. Davis grid system. Phytogeographically, it is located in the Iran-Turan Flora region. 1550 plant samples were collected during the field studies carried out between 2019-2021. As a result of the 413 plant taxa belonging to 68 families and 232 genera were determined. 52 taxa are new record for B5 square, 39 taxa are endemic and the endemism rate is 9,44 %. The distribution of taxa according to phytogeographic regions is as follows: Euro-Siberian elements: %5,32, Irano-Turanian elements: 19,12%, Mediterranean elements 5,56% and are widely distributed or phytogeographically unknown are 52,78%. In the study area Asteraceae was the largest family including the most genus and most taxa with 42 species and subspecies taxa belonging to 28 genera. The genus with the most taxa is Medicago L. sp. with 10 taxa. The distribution of taxa according to the life forms is as follows: 83 (20,09%) Phanerophytes, 51 (12,34%) Chamaephytes, 163 (39,46%) Hemicryptophytes, 16 of which are Geophytes 28 (6,77%) Cryptophytes and 88 (21,3%) taxa are Therophytes.
