Expressionist pattern applications in printed t-shirts

Influence of visual communication had been a significant factor in socialization of human since the existence of first human being. Self-expression of first human kind by pictures that are drawn in cave walls, continued as tatooes that are made over body people in primitive tribes and these factors existed until our time. The thing that stands out in human relations which is gradually decreasing with respect to rapidly increasing human population, is that visual communication. Communication and self-expression neccessity of people will always preserve its importance in modern life. People can exist provided that they can express themselves and can survive in life struggle. This formation finds itself in art as ?expressionism?. This trend influenced almost all branches of art and especially influenced drawing. Human uses body in self-expression which is first visual factor. For achieving this clothes stand in the forefront as we know from clothing history, clothes are social statue determiners in people?s life. It is the showcase that is opening out to the outer world. We will be understood in society by what we had put in that showcase and we will take place in the society according to them. Nowadays t-shirts are mainly the clothes that take this role. T-shirt which composes main idea of my study, are almost speaking with prints which are carried over them and they express our ideas and emotions while we are remaining silent. We see how t-shirts increas people?s self expression ability and how they toughen human relationships which had been weakened in recent modern societies. Rapid development of technology resulted with several develeopments in t-shirt prints. The reality is that several developments wait us in the future for this point of view.
