Abstract (EN)
In Turkish history, women have always been valued and have never fallen behind men. Apart from being a mother and wife in home, womanhas always been raised as a good warriorso that she can protect herself when her husband is not there. As can be understood from the old inscriptions and epics, women had almost the same rights as their husband. In Mongols and Turks, the title of Hatun was used for the wives and daughters of the emperos. In addition to Khan's name, it was absolutely necessary to includethe name of Hatun in the royal decree. Thus, it has been understood that Turkish women are alsa active in political and social life. From the old Turks, while Türkish women maintain their active political and social life, it is seen that the Seljuk State decline in the especially lastperiod. However, it is seen that the dignity and value of Turkish women were preserved during the period of Anatolian Beylics. Whenever a problem was occurred, fırstly, theywould consult their wives. They directly participated in the administration and held positions such as governorship and embassy. They had political marriage in order to strengthen the ties between two beylics. While wives-who are succesful in their political activities-participated in social activities, they also contributed to thegrowth of their lands by buildingvarious structures such as mosgues, fountains, bridges and Turkish baths. They established foundations for the restoration of these works. In this way, hatuns also provided income for the next generation. They contributed to the economy of the country. Some of these structures still exist today. It is obvious that they are successful in everything they do. İn this thesis: by means of main sources and investigations, the presence of Hatuns in the period of Western Anatolian Beylics will be confirmed. The political activities of these women, their political marriages and the structures they built will be examined. As a result, I will try to explain how they make an impression in Turkishwomen's history. KEY WORDS: Anatolian Beylics, Hatuns, Old Turks, Turkish Women's History, Women In Political And Social Life,
