Abstract (EN)

ABSTRACT The central authority of Anatolian Seljuk Goverment became less and then the goverment destroyed towards the end of XIII th century. Turkmans began to see themselves as the inheritor of Seljuk goverment. As a result of this, Turkmans begans to announce their independence and established tuwenty pricipalities each of which has the quality of the goverment. Aydınoğulları, Menteşeoğulları and Saruhanoğulları are the most important principalities among them which survive approximately 150 years in west Anatolia. Principalities that form a transition between Seljuk and Ottoman periods are not only important with their political roles but also the development that they enabled in the areas that they settled in. i While they are doing it, they improved public facilities in different styles and constructed many buildings, in this research: six specialized mosques belonging to the Beylik period in west Anatolian Region will be examined and the contrubition of the above stated three Beyliks (Aydınoğulları, Menteşeoğulları, Saruhanoğulları) to the development of religious architecture and their ornaments that is improved due to the architectural formations are evaluated. These are the ornaments that improve due to the materials like stone, timber and brick and they will be researched in case of their motival and compositional properties in addition, the development of the architectural material's is evaluated in the buildings of the selected period.
