The planning of production stock on WMI

ABSTRACT In today's world, production of goods and service is an important indicator of a country's development and competitiveness. A company which wants to sell its products in world market has to use production resources effectively. Unnecessary stock holding increases costs and it is not good for a company which dedicated itself to effectiveness and profit. Production stock planning is a way that helps the company to meet its demands and to have minimum costs. This study is about production stock planning which has a dynamic structure. In first section, terms about production and in second section the concept of stock are introduced. In third section dynamic programming approach which forms the basis of practice study is explained. In the last section multi-stage dynamic production stock planning which performed in West Machine Company is presented.
