Abstract (EN)

Bauhaus is not only a school of "rebellion" against basic art movements, but also an understanding and a rebirth. Although it was born and raised in Germany, it has also managed to be an important source of inspiration for the rest of the world. This movement, which directly affected the field of ceramics such as sculpture, architecture, industrial product design and many other fields, included a difficult educational process supported by strong educational models. Today, especially in countries such as Turkey, in order to achieve important gains at this point, some schools and vocational high schools of arts have supported this trend and the main branches that it directs. In this study, the past and present of the Bauhaus movement were generally focused on and after the basic concepts and frameworks were created, the past and present reflections in Turkey were included. At the same time, Bauhaus education of ceramic and the dynamics of this education are mentioned in the perspective of Turkey and the World.
