Some of 1,2,4-triazolo [3,4-b] [1,3,4] thiadiazole ring compounds synthesis

In this study; firstly, 4-amino-5-pyridine-4-yl-4H-1,2,4-triazole-3-thiole and 4-amino-5-(2-thiophenyl) -4H-1,2,4-triazole-3-thiole were synthesized. After that; 1,2,4-triazole[3,4-b][1,3,4]triazole were synthesized from the different aromatic acids with -SH and –NH2 functional groups by cyclic condensation in the presence of phosphorus oxychloride. The structure of obtained compounds were characterized by using FT-IR, 1H NMR and 13C NMR techniques. Keywords: 1,2,4-triazoles, 1,2,4-triazole[3,4-b][1,3,4]triazole, Schiff bases
