Abstract (EN)

This study was aimed to investigate the effect of different plant population density (30, 40, 50 and 60 seed/m2) and fertilization (with fertilize and free-fertilize) on yield and yield components in two pea (Pisum sativum L.) varieties (Utrillo and Cambados). Research was carried out in experimental area at Dicle University Faculty of Agriculture in 2014 growing season. Experiment arranged randomized complete block design in split-plot with three replications. Observations were recorded on plant weight, plant height, first pod height, branches and pods per plant, number of seeds per pod, biological yield, grain yield, pod length and pod width. The effect of fertilizer application on plant weight, plant height, branches and number of pods per plant, pod length and width, number of seed per pod, seed yield and biological yield were significant. Also, effect of plant population density on number of branches per plant, pod width, number of seed per pod, biological and seed yield were significant. Grain yield was increase by 6% yield by fertilizer application, and grain yield was increase average 50% increased plant population density.
