Examination of some dyestuffs adsopstion on activated carbon abtained with shell of pistacia terebinthus

In my thesis work, shell of pistacia terebinthus, supplied from Siirt province, had been entreated with ZnCl2 and activated carbon had been prepared. Solutions thathad five different concentrations (10, 20, 30, 40 and 50 ppm) had been prepared by using Congo Red and Malachite Green dyestuffs. The amount of adsorption of the solution had been calculated in the three different temperature (298K, 308K and 318K). In the work, equilibrium time for two dyestuffs had been determined as 40th -50th minutes. It had been noticed that % concentration of adsorption of solutions increased thanks to raise of temperature and concentration. Kinetical and isothermal works had been done by using acquired data. It had been determined that two of dyestuffs were suitable for Pseudo 2th degree adsorption kinetic Langmuir, Freundlich and Temkin isothermal connection had been used for isothermal data caeffident of correlation had been evaluated. Suitability of Freundlich and Temkin isotherm had been abserved in bath of used dyestuffs thermodynamical data of adsorption work, se best entalpi, entalpi and parameter had been calculated. According to result of estimated data for bath of dyestuffs, it had been abserved that rates of ΔG° was negative, rates of ΔH° and ΔS° were positive.
