Abstract (EN)

In this research, plant growth characteristics, yield values and some nutrient contents of storage roots of sweet potato plant in Tokat-Kazova under experimental planting conditions were investigated. The study was conducted in 2018 in Tokat Gaziosmanpasa University Research and Application Center (Altitude: 571 m) in the Central District of Tokat Province. Cuttings belonging to 4 genotypes obtained from Hatay province were planted as 3 replications in the trial area. on 25 May 2018, 90x45 cm of planting process was done. For each genotype, a total of 32 cuttings were planted in 8 replicates in 4 rows. A total of 384 steels were used in the research. According to the findings; The highest storage root yield 7604.93 kg / da Havuc the lowest yield 1283.05 kg/da was obtained from the pen genotypes. The maximum number of storage roots per plant was 8.87 per plant / Hatay red, and at least 5.04 per plant / pen genotypes. The stalk lengths were realized with Hatay Kırmızısı with 179.2 cm longest, and Kalem genotypes with 46.13 cm longest. In terms of plant growth and yield values, Hatay Kırmızısı, Hatay Yerlisi, Havuc genotypes were high and Kalem genotype was low. As a result of storage root sample analysis of sweet potato genotypes: Dry matter ratios were determined between 28.11 % and 33.36 %. The lowest dry matter protein content was 2.73% in Havuc and the highest 4.57% in Kalem genotypes. Antioxidant capacities of the samples taken from genotypes varied between 26.8% and 32.35%. In Tokat-Kazova, it was concluded that there is a potential for yield in the production of suitable genotypes of sweet potato plant and that researches should be conducted in this direction.
