Determination of various physicochemical properties of some Turkish clays and hydrogenation of benzene onto Ni/Clay catalysts

The purpose of this study is to familiarize to those of researchers in some phase of clay technology, with the modern views of physical chemistry and its application to clay sistems. Some physicochemical characteristics of Bilecik kaolinite and Reşadiye bentonite clays were determined. By using these clays, Ni/clay catalysts were prepared and used in the hydrogenation of benzene. catalytic activity tests were carried out.
