When it comes to Leonardo da Vinci, the main objective of the program is to promote the policies towards vocational education and to develop these policies. In order to have a better system of vocational education and to comply with the European Union education systems, there are projects and studies conducted by a variety of private and state institutions.This study sets out to explore the experiences and competencies students gained during practical training of the students who participated in Leonardo da Vinci programs. To serve his purpose, a questionnaire was applied to 654 students who participated in Leonardo da Vinci Programs at hotel and tourism vocational high schools and hypotheses put forward were tested in statistical terms. Competencies gained were dealt with respect to foreign language education, personal development, vocational development, visionary development, and general satisfaction from the program in general.
