Özet (EN)

In this study the main object is to determine Bekir Sitki Kunt' s place in Turkish Literature. Our study starts by conveying the survey of the Turkish narration. In this way, Kunt' s contributions will be searched in Turkish Literature. Kunt began his writing profession in 1925 after 1930 he started to write short stories. Kunt has sixty-four short stories in his five works and various periodicals. Most of these stories have short story technique. Kunt considered the content rather than technique in his style. In these stories are illustrated a large panorama of Turkish Society after 1930/ in general these stories built on real observation and have conveyed that the economic problems cause of the degeneration on the society and person. Characters of the stories have been chooses middle-class people whom we could meet easily in the Society. Kunt created male characters rather than female in his stories. Kunt' s narration have usually are aspect. The narrator gives all details about the main character in these stories. Kunt, considering the public pretence, wrote his stories with daily language at the same time, he tried to show of spoken language in his works. Kunt is one of the notable novelist in Turkish Literature after 1930. In this thesis, Kunt' s contributions have been tried to determine in Turkish Literature.
