Abstract (EN)

The research was carried out prospectively. Ninety patients were divided into three groups: Home Exercise Group (HE), Physiotherapy + Home Exercise Group (PT+HE), and Physiotherapy + Supervised Exercise Group (PT+SE). Treatment protocols included exercise applications supported by electrotherapy (TENS, ultrasound, and hotpack). Pre- and post-treatment evaluations were conducted using the Oswestry Disability Index (ODI) and the Short Form-36 (SF-36) scales. Data were analyzed using SPSS 26.0 software. The findings indicated that the supervised exercise group showed more favorable outcomes, particularly in the subscales of energy, mental health, and social functioning. In conclusion, supervised exercises were found to be effective in the treatment of chronic low back pain and played a significant role in improving quality of life. Home exercises were also observed to contribute to the treatment process and could be considered a cost-effective alternative.
