Özet (EN)
This research was carried out to determine the land use potential in terms of touristical and recreational activities by using natural, historical and archaeological data in the Çukurova region. The study was carried out in the upper Berdan River Basin which has a land area of 1347 km2. " Potantial Land Use Map" in terms of touristical activities was prepared at the end of land evaluation studies. According to this map, the majority of total research area has a high potential for touristical and recreational activities (Very high % 11.10, high % 43.75). Finally, recommendations aiming at different activity forms were mapped as:. In the higher region of the research area; Mountaineering, rock climbing, winter sports, tracking,. Along the riversides; Camping and picnicing, jogging.. In the upland settlements and their peripheries; Touristical investment area and recreation facilities,. In the rural settlement areas ; Rural tourism.
