Özet (EN)
This thesis investigates the impact of five-factor personality traits on innovative work behavior and the mediating function of attitudes towards artificial intelligence. The study focuses on how individuals' personality traits affect their perceptions and approaches towards artificial intelligence technologies, with examples from dynamic and competitive business environments. Within the scope of the research, data was collected from 241 academics through a survey; the relationships between the variables were examined with correlation analysis, and the effects were evaluated with the Sobel test. Findings revealed that attitudes towards artificial intelligence predict innovative work behavior. It has been determined that openness to experience, self-discipline and adaptability dimensions of five factor personality traits are important predictors of innovative work behavior. However, neither any effect of five-factor personality traits on attitudes towards artificial intelligence was found, nor any sufficient evidence was found to support the mediating effect of artificial intelligence attitude on this relationship. This study investigates how attitudes towards artificial intelligence are affected by perceived ease of use, usefulness, trust and ethical concerns. It has been demonstrated that trust in artificial intelligence and the opportunities offered by technological innovations support innovative behaviors, whereas anxiety and ethical concerns can hinder these processes. It highlights the critical role that individual differences play in interacting with technology. By addressing the factors affecting innovative business behavior, the study offers strategic suggestions for making the best use of technological developments and contributes to the literature, creating a reference for future research.
