Teacher and student opinions on the effect of literary product use on fifth grade social studies lesson

Social sciences, one of the most available training scope achieving global education targets provide individuals their duty responsibility conscious that's necessary for taking part in community life. The individuals gain some couples of skills improving their community personality social science help individuals bringing out their potential approaching the diversities in indulgence, respecting for the others thoughts, concerning the others and inspiring empathy. Using written literary products in social science subject contribute the individuals improving their skills written literature yields comprise available tools and sources for individuals achieving effective learning. The individuals will be able to identify historical buildings by travel articles know successful figures in history by biographies find the poems will broaden their imagination. The study was conducted using qualitative research method and qualitative research program NVivo 12. Semi-structured interviews with 30 social studies teachers and 67 social studies students were conducted. The obtained data were analyzed by content analysis. The ultimate aim of this work is contribution of written literature products to the social science subjects achieving its target acquisition and detect its permanent effect in learning.
