Abstract (EN)

The most important mechanical specification of the concrete is compressive strength because concrete is a brittle material. In the basic endurance criteria, tensile strength has the lowest and pressure has the highest priority. In practice, it is assumed that concrete has no tensile strain and it cracks immediately thus concrete has tested only for pressure. In this context concrete which will be used in constructions must met the desired requirements. Many researches and studies conducted at this topic. The most important achievement of the scientific and technological developments is the fiber strengthened composites. In this study 150 x 300 mm sized 14 samples which prepared by C20 and C16 class concrete; wrapped single and double coat. In this framework fiber composites and control samples compared by compressive strength and strain-burden relations. The average ouitcomes compressive strength of the control samples and composite materials have been presenteKeywords: Concrete, Composite materials, FRP , Fiber Glass, Compressive strength
