Abstract (EN)
Very serious deformations occur in buildings under the influence of earthquakes, resulting in serious loss of life and property, and even the entire building is destroyed. The biggest factors in giving these losses can be listed as the suitability of the materials used, especially the design of the building, to the standards and the suitability of the on-site productions to the design. Since our country is located on the active fault lines, it is very important to calculate the performance of the existing building with the correct parameters since it is under the influence of earthquakes. In this study, an existing building is made of reinforced concrete linear performance analysis according to the criteria in the 2018 Turkey earthquake Regulations. In the performance analyzes, the design concrete class was changed and the design was performed in 3 different low concrete classes. The results of the analysis were compared and the damage conditions were determined. number of damaged elements determined
