Abstract (EN)
It is important that a planned structure can behave at a performance level that is sufficient and constant under continuous and discontinuous loads. The characteristics of the structural system are some of the most important factors that are effective in the building behavior. Today, there are many regulations in our country and in the world that guide the engineers. Engineers have great responsibilities in designing and analyzing based on these regulations. Today, shear-walls are used extensively in order to be able to compensate effective horizontal loads such as wind and earthquakes in multi-storey reinforced concrete structures located in various earthquake regions and to limit the optimum level to the relative floor displacements and torsion of the structure. The location and placement of shear-walls, which generally appear in the architectural design floor plan, are quite influential in their behavior during earthquake effects. In this thesis study, dynamic and performance analysis of 4 different floor plans and 4, 8 and 12 storey desings of each floor plan with rectangular geometric shear-walls which placed at different places of the building with different layout geometries and pieces were carried out and the effects on the behavior of reinforced concrete shear-frame conveyor structures was investigated by providing limit of life safety. The structures have 4, 8 and 12 storeys with a floor height of 2.80 meters, a floor space of 400 m2, 1. degree earthquake zone, ground class Z3, and intended purpose is residential. C20 class concrete and S420 construction steel are selected for the material selection of the construction. For design, TS 498-1997 "Desing Loads For Buildings", TS500-2000 "Design and Construction Rules of Reinforced Concrete Structures" and DBYBHY-2007 "Turkish Earthquake Code" regulations are taken into consideration. IdeCAD Static 7 program was used for analysis and design of the construction. Obtained periods, effective relative floor displacements, base shear and storey shear forces, concrete and steel, etc. are discussed.
