Abstract (EN)
Since the population of the World and Turkey increases, square-meter cost of metro pols are increases respectively. Along with increases and the demand for living areas makes number of high rise buildings and the cost desirable. Thenceforth the high-rise buildings has been rising higher, spring to mind that, regulations are adequate or not. According to earthquake regulations 2007 that was well accepted till 2019 high rise buildings are not separated from other structures and equate together. Publishing of Turkish Building Earthquake Regulation in 2019, high-rise buildings has been evaluate separately from the other kind of structures. Turkish Building Earthquake Regulation divide high-rise buildings into three different level class, regarding their design matters it has been decided to inspect them according to that content. Aim of this study is comprising earthquake regulation 2019 (new) with 2007 version on be half of examine results of linear calculations of high rise building that designed by using reinforced concrete curtain wall and frame system along with considered effects that comes from analysis. The study consist of five chapters. Introduction part is in the first chapter, the second chapter gives information about load bearing capacity system that is used at reinforced concrete high rise buildings. Third chapter includes mainly parameters which are going to be used in this thesis such as predicted calculation and design of high rise structures in Turkish Building Earthquake Regulation in 2019.Fourth chapter covers performance analysis and design of 108 meter high and 30 stories reinforced concrete high rise building according to Turkish Building Earthquake Regulation in 2019 and compares linear calculation results with Turkish Building Earthquake Regulation in 2007.Fifth chapter is the conclusion part and it is followed by the list of resources and annexures. Keywords: Tall building, Earthquake effects, Performance analysis, Earthquake code
