Özet (EN)
In Turkey, where the earthquake risk has always existed, and in many countries around the world, the rapid increase in the population and the type of urbanization have brought along the needs of different living spaces. And indirectly, the construction process of high-rise building types has accelerated. As the construction of tall structures has become attractive, the evaluation of structures under the influence of earthquakes has become a very important issue in terms of earthquake engineering. In our country, which has seismic risk at all times, and in many countries around the world, studies have been carried out on the behavior of high-rise buildings under the influence of earthquakes, and certain regulations have come into force. Especially as stated in TBDY2018 (Turkey Building Earthquake Code 2018), design according to performance comes to the fore in the analysis process of high-rise buildings. What is expressed as design according to performance, in fact, is the dimensioning or evaluation of the capacity of the structure under certain effects, taking into account the building use class and performance level. Design according to performance is examined under two headings, linear and non-linear analysis. Apart from design according to performance, another design type expressed in the relevant earthquake regulations is 'design by deformation'. In this study, nonlinear analysis of the 41-storey reinforced concrete structure with a height of +144.01 m, built in Turkey, was made in the light of design according to performance, and the definition types encountered in the analysis process and expressed in similar studies were discussed. Comments were made on the shear and bending joint of the curtain elements, the conditions specified in the regulation and the results of the section analysis were compared. According to TBDY2018, the structure was modeled in the SAP2000 program, the results were expressed, and the conditions of application of the conditions required for the design according to deformation were clearly expressed.
