Reviev of reinforced concrete high rise buildings' plan irregularities according to Turkish Earthquake Regulation

At the present time, with increasing population and developing technology number of high rise buildings has been increasing rapidly at the cities. Important part for these buildings are architectural design process and structural systems which are used during this process. During architectural and structural design earthquake takes an important role. In this study, irregularities of some reinforced concrete high rise buildings which are located all around world are reviewed. Effect of these irregularities on buildings' behaviours during earthquake are studied. After this study the beneficial information and suggestions were prepared for architects and engineers.
