Özet (EN)

White nectarines are the endemic genotype grown in Canakkale which have the unique characteristics of desirable and rich flavor. In recent years, a significant increase has been recorded in the production of white nectarines, due to being recognized in the domestic market and the consumer choice. White nectarines with high quality are the orginal material for development of new stone fruits varieties. In this research, white nectarine types have been hybridized with plum, peach, almond and apricot varieties, compared the volatile components to peach and nectarine varieties and investigated the genetic relationship with the Prunus species. The fruit set ratio and some pomological characters were investigated in the hybrid fruits obtained after hybridization. For this purpose, 19046 flowers were pollinated with 94 combinations in 2008-2011. As a result of this studies, the highest fruit set ratio with 26.10% has been obtained from the White Nectarine X Plum combination. In this research, the volatile components of white nectarine types (17-BN-01, 17-BN-02, 17-BN-03), other nectarine varieties (Armking and Fantasia), flat peach variety (Domat) and peach varieties (J.H. Hale, Redhaven, Early Red and Cresthaven) were investigated using SPME (Solid Phase Micro Extraction) technique by GC/MS (Gas Chromatography / Mass Spectrometry). C6 components, esters, alcohols, ketones, aldehydes, lactones, terpenoids and other volatile compounds were identified, as a result of volatile extractions. The volatile compounds ratio in white nectarines were to be found 95.60%. The total quantity of ester and lactones in white nectarines and linalool compound in the terpenoids were observed to have the highest concentrations compared to the other genotypes. In this study, the genetic relationships were identified among white nectarine (17-BN-01 and 17-BN-02), peach (Royal Glory), cherry (Premier Giant), apricot (Roxana), almond (Texas), nectarine (Caldesi 85) and plum (Black Diamond) genotypes within observed the Prunus species. For this purpose, 282 AFLP fragments were marked by AFLP analyses, using 6 primer combinations. The results of AFLP analysis have brought out the different genetic characters of white nectarine types from other peach and nectarine varieties. In dendrogram, the genetic distance of white nectarine types were found to be similar, although cherry species were found to be must distant from the genetic of white nectarines.
