Abstract (EN)
Due to the fact that works of literature in the genre of fantasy and science fiction are rarely found in domestic children's literature, this genre, which is the rising trend of the age, is often read by children from the works of foreign authors. The aim of the children's literature works is to help the child understand the society of which he is a part and to support his adaptation to society. Therefore, the fact that children with newly formed cultural accumulation are constantly reading the works of foreign authors poses a problem for achievement possible obtainments of children's literature works. Such works in this genre that children will read with love, have fun, learn, and have blended national values with national and international culture are extremely important for children's education. That is why Bilgin Adalı, the author of domestic children's literature who gives works in this genre, should be more recognizable in this workspace. The purpose of this study is assess the contribution of fantasy and science fiction works that suitable for the Generation Z and Alpha children's realities and development, on the other hand it is a work of modern age, the source of fairy tales and legends field, supports children's creativity of the imagination which is the starting point of education In this context, a detailed survey has been carried out about children's literature, the importance, duty and elements of children's literature in the field. As a result of this survey, the theoretical framework of the study was established and the short life story of Bilgin Adalı, whose works are examined in this section, is included. Within the determined framework, Bilgin Adalı's works in the workspace of children's literature were scanned, and those in the genre of fantasy and science fiction were accepted as a sample of the study. The content of nineteen works included in the sample was analyzed by the document review method, which is one of the qualitative data collection methods. In the Findings section, the works were first evaluated in terms of the basic elements of children's literature, and then the fantastic and science fiction elements in the works and the contributions of these elements to children's education were examined in detail. As a result of the reviews and evaluations, it was concluded that these works written in the genre of fantasy and science fiction will contribute positively to children's education both because their subjects are compatible with the realities of the age and because they adapt to the trends of the modern child who is building his own learning adventure.
