Abstract (EN)

In the last fifty years, information systems have changed the life of human beings in a notice-able way. Nowadays, these systems, which continue to spread at an increasing pace, are frequently used and even become the target of these actions in criminal activities. Cyber crime differs from the traditional types of crime in many respects, such as the fact that it takes place in seconds, has an international impact and the evidence is difficult to obtain. For this reason, a new criminal law approach in which information systems are assimilated should be develo-ped. The actions in Turkish Criminal Code article 244 constitute relatively new types of crime that can only be processed on information systems. Therefore, the scope of article 244 should be clearly identified and its relationship with similar types of crime should be determined. Considering the expected change and development of information systems in the near future, the inclusive feature of this type of crime needs to be developed. In this study, article 244 has been tried to be examined within the framework of a proposed model for information systems.
