Abstract (EN)
Mortality rates in the form of falling from a height in building constructions are higher than the death rates of all accidents except motor vehicle accidents. The main causes of these accidents are; It is seen that the fall prevention measures during working at height are insufficient, the occupational safety awareness is not sufficient in the employees and the technological studies are not implemented. In this study, falling points during working at height in residential building, factory building and state agency constructions were determined and control forms and existing and necessary precautions were evaluated.. It has been observed that measures are not generally taken against the danger of falling, especially at the edges of the floors, formwork works and scaffolding works. In this context, in the annual reports published by the Ministry of Labor for the construction sector, it is stated that the most fatal accidents are the floor margins where safety measures are not taken in general, the works on the scaffolding, the formwork works and the works on the roof.
