Abstract (EN)

In this study, the effect of the filler wall on adjacent structures was investigated. The fill-wall-frame interaction in reinforced concrete structures is especially important in the effect of horizontal loads. As a result of this situation, it is aimed to incorporate the filler walls into the calculation model in reinforced concrete analysis using the equivalent pressure rod approach. For this purpose, reinforced concrete frames with filler walls and without filler walls were modeled using the Sap2000 program with 3, 5, 7 and 9 floors. Only one axis of the frames was built with a filler wall and a adjacent building model was created. The effect of filler wall was studied in Z1 and Z4 floor classes by changing the height of the entrance floor. According to the equivalent earthquake load method of natural vibration periods obtained from the modal analysis, the horizontal wall displacements, relative floor drifts, base shear forces, column shear forces, torsional irregularity coefficient and base torsion moment are compared on different models and the fill wall-frame interaction is examined. Depending on the model differences, it is concluded that the values found can be changed and therefore the inclusion of the filler wall in the building model will be a more realistic approach.
