Abstract (EN)

The main purpose of Occupational Health and Safety is to ensure that employees are mentally and physically healthy and to maintain this condition. For this, possible potential hazards and risks that may place in the workplaces must be identified before they occur and appropriate precautions must be taken. This is called risk analysis and defined as identifying and evaluating the dangers and risks in workplaces. Risk analysis gives us information about potential hazards and risks in workplaces and precautions which must be taken. There are many risk analysis methods. In this study, three of those; L Matrix method which is very common, Fine-Kinney method and HRNS method which is not known yet, are introduced and compared by applying them in an underground lead-zinc mine in Adana province, Kozan district. As a result, it was concluded that the L-Matrix method does not classify major risks properly in some cases, the Fine-Kinney method which covers frequency parameter is better than it, and finally, the HRNS method which covers both frequency and the number of workers is more suitable for workplaces where employees work in different units such as underground mining operations.
