Although Cemal Şakar is one of the most important representatives of post modern story 1980 after the republican literature, does not have much work on his work. The author's ten story book; structure, themes, symbolic elements and language and style will be examined in this study. The author emphasized internal calculations that individuals live through their perceptions of life in almost all of the stories. The author (Şakar) elaborates in detail the window of anonymous hero created by the flaws of the social and political atmosphere he has set up. The author is fed from three sources while producing his stories; memories tradition, religion, modernism. The story tries to force the boundaries of the story beyond the possibilities of the class and the postmodern narration. In general, his work about tradition, religion, conflict modernism, stories of quests, escapes and war, and storytelling, so his works have status storytelling feature. The author who is very dominant in writing techniques, distinguishes the other narratives in terms of the multitude of the techniques his practices. In his stories, most of the story characters; life and society, very sensitive to human affairs; but they are passive and silly types that do not try to change anything they are uncomfortable with. This study is basically composed of five parts; in the first part of the study; the author's life literary personality and works are given, the structure of the works in the second section, the theme in the third section, the symbolic values in works in the fourth chapter, in the fifth chapter; the language and stylistic features of the works will be mentioned.
