Abstract (EN)
It is known that those people who save money manage the capital remaining from their expenses in investment tools in line with different purposes. Those individuals who make investments are effected from different factors while making transactions. Such factors as the psychological state and character of the person as well as the social environment could have an effect on individuals' investment decisions. This research aims to find out the factors that effect individual investors while taking investment decisions and to find out to what extent these factors are effective on investors. This study consists of five chapters. The first chapter includes general information on investment. The second chapter provides in-depth information on investor types. General information on the demographic and economic structure of Bartın province is given in the third chapter. Fourth chapter includes the methodology, design and data of the research. And finally in the fifth chapter, the results of the survey carried out with the people working at banks to find out the investor profile in Bartın are analyzed.
