Abstract (EN)
IZAYDAS is a biogas (an alternativeenergysource) production facility which is a part of the Kocaeli Metropolitan Municipality. It also has an important place in waste management. In this study; The biogas formation consists of 3 stages which are hydrolysis, acid production and methane production. The biogas production facilities have five different production categories. The usage areas of the energy that obtained in these plants, are compared with other energy sources by considering the factors which affects the facilities. Biogas production is based on costtable of İZAYDAŞ Biogas Production Plant.
