Özet (EN)

The Byzantine Empire is one of the greatest empires in history. Throughout the history of the empire, particularly noble women, despite their patriarchal society, they have been active in politics, art, sanatology, culture and culture. In the Byzantine Empire, despite the oppression on women in social and daily life, it has not been possible for women to turn to different fields. In the Byzantine society, women were brought to the forefront with maternity and fertility depending on their sexual identity. Another characteristic that brings women into a respectable position in society is their religiosity. The main factors influencing the adoption of society by all Byzantine women, including empresses, dynasties and noble women; religiosity, benevolence, and subjugation. In our study, after discussing women's issues in ancient and medieval religions and after discussing women's issues in the Byzantine Empire, we focused on topics such as the place of women in the social structure, daily life, professional groups conducted by women, women in religious life, women in art and literature, emperors and nobility of noble women.
