Abstract (EN)
This research aims to understand the impact of strategic competition between the United States and China on security dynamics in the Asia-Pacific region. As the two main actors at the center of global power, the United States and China have a significant impact both economically and militarily in the Asia-Pacific region. This region is crucial due to its central role in global trade and the presence of strategic military bases. The importance of this research lies in its in-depth analysis of regional security dynamics, considering the interaction between these two superpowers and the strategies of regional actors, which also contributes to the broader understanding of regional security and global balance. Additionally, this study examines how multilateral collaborations and security strategies shape regional stability and the balance of power, offering important contributions to the international relations literature. The primary motivation for selecting this topic stems from the growing global impact of security issues in the region and the potential of the U.S.-China rivalry to affect not only the region but the entire world. China's rising power has reshaped the security environment in the Asia-Pacific, and the United States has focused on developing balancing strategies against China while cooperating with regional allies. The functioning of regional security complexes reveals that this competition encompasses not only military but also economic and diplomatic aspects. Furthermore, the importance of multilateral solutions and security cooperation in maintaining regional stability is emphasized.
