Abstract (EN)
The thesis study conducted between June 2022 and May 2023 in the Boraboy Lake located in the Taşova district of Amasya involved the seasonal collection of zooplankton samples from four stations. In this study, the zooplankton community structure of the lake was identified, and its seasonal distribution was observed. As a result, a total of 36 species were diagnosed, including 26 species of Rotifera, 8 species of Cladocera, and 2 species of Copepoda. The species Diaptomus gracilis, Keratella cochlearis, and Bosmina longirostris were identified as dominant species. Additionally, the trophic level of the lake was evaluated through physicochemical analyses, revealing that Boraboy Lake exhibited characteristics transitioning from oligotrophic to mesotrophic. This thesis study represents the first research conducted to determine the trophic level and zooplankton fauna of Boraboy Lake.
