Abstract (EN)
The study was carried out in 2000-2001 on the Flora of Botan Çayı (Uluçay) gorge of Siirt vilayet. The flora of studied area consists of 381 laxa which belong to 59 families and 232 genera. 37 taxa from C8, 150 taxa from C9 and 17 taxa from South-East Anatolian region, 41 taxa from East Anatolian region and 168 taxa from Siirt vilayet are recorded for the first time for these squares which were adopted by Davis's Flora of Turkey. The phytogeografic regions of only 183 taxa out of the collected material, have been determined: Irano-Turanian: 126, Mediterranean: 31, East Mediterranean: 16 and Euro- Siberian: 10. 20 (5.25 %) of the total flora are endemic for Turkey.
