Abstract (EN)

This study was carried out in order to reveal the economic, administrative and social structure of Bozöyük district. The main source of this study is the Bozöyük country temettuat register numbered 2810 in the Ottoman archives of the presidency of state archives between the years H. 1260 / 1261 M. 1844- 1845. In this book, information is given about the demographic, administrative, social and economic structure of the people of the region. In addition, in this study, the real estate, land, zoo and temettuat information of the people living in Bozöyük district were also discussed. In order to understand the Bozöyük district temettuat register, first of all, the population, history and administrative structure of the region were emphasized and the temettuat register was mentioned.The study consists of introduction, four chapters and conclusion. The important results reached in the study were as follows: It is seen that livestock activites are intensely carried out in Bozöyük district and besides this, agricultural activities are also carried out, albeit a little. Income and livestock decline to a significant extent for each household. Bozöyük district Temettuat Register is one of the examples that reflects the settled structure of the Ottoman State of that day very well. The Temettuat Notebooks of Bozöyük District in the Ottoman Archives of the Presidency of State Archives were transcribed into today's Turkish, tables were created and evaluated. The structure of the villages was examined and in the light of this information, the socio-economic structure of Bozöyük District was tried to be examined. The households in the villages in Bozöyük District were examined and tried to be conveyed. Keywords: Ottoman Empire, Bozöyük, Temettuat Book.
