Özet (EN)

Turkish Music is a rich and magnificent music which has a deeply rooted history spreading over great geography throughout history. Everyone who is concerned with this great heritage must protect it by learning our music. This study was designed to present the theoretical part of our music to the use of visually impaired in the Braille text format. The study consists of three parts. In the first part, the history of the Braille script and note system and life of Louis Braille are examined and the letters, symbols and musical signs in the Braille alphabet are given in templates. In the second part, the elements forming the maqam and components of maqam (the series, the course and the concepts within their sub-titles) in Turkish Music are mentioned. In the third part of the study, the simple maqams in the Arel - Ezgi - Uzdilek system were examined and one sample work is introduced for each. In the third part of this study, which was also prepared to ensure that the visually impaired who want to learn Turkish music have resources of the subject in their hands, the examined maqams and sample works have been translated into Braille writing format. Key Words: Braille, Visually Impaired, Turkish Music, Arel - Ezgi - Uzdilek, Simple Maqams.
