Abstract (EN)
In this research it is aimed to develop a new device configuration for shuttle embroidery machines which would provide a better pattern design variety. This device would enable the machine to lay cordonnet on fabric and apply it on the surface with the use of zig zag stitch. There are shuttle embroidery machines constructed including cordonnet laying device but these machinery have relatively higher investment. It would cost less if the actual investments are reevaluated by adding these apparatus on them as re-investment cost will relatively be less than purchasing new technologies. This new function implemented, increases the opportunity of meeting more variety of orders thus enables more efficient operating time. After implementation of this device different pattern variations are examined. The shuttle embroidery machines have a high initial investment cost therefore their depreciation period is long. Any improvement of operating time of the machine may bring in advantages in competitiveness and cost reduction.
